the position is for a hands-on analytical chemist and requires a PhD or experienced MSc in Mass spectroscopy (small and medium molecules). The ideal candidate would have an experience in Metabolomics and have some background in biology. He/she will be responsible for conducting analytical experiments as part of an effort to validate drug targets and discover new cancer therapeutics. Some of the specific areas of research include: metabolomics discovery, developing and performing new methodology, support and direct collaboration with the biology team.
In addition the candidate will have to contribute to the effective operation of the lab by sharing the responsibilities of preparing buffers and reagents, ordering supplies and maintaining equipment.
• This position requires a PhD in chemistry or a Master degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience in HPLC/MS.
• Candidate must be able to work independently
Experience in Q orbitrap MS/MS technics and metabolomics.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech companies.
• Familiar with cutting-edge analytical techniques.
